What did I get up to at Glastonbury?

 DAY 1
The first couple of days at the festival are so much fun and that’s before the main music even starts! The atmosphere and vibes are out of this world and you can be as free as you want to be! We arrived late Tuesday night and had the luxury of getting straight onto the campervan site so we were ready to get up early and go and explore! I decided to go with a sunflower theme for the first day! We spent the day exploring the shops and checking out the amazing food on offer! We found the sunflowers at the Greenpeace field and explored Glastonbury on Sea with of course a stop for some nice cold ciders on route!

DAY 2
Another day of exploring – we walked nearly 80 miles in total over the 5 days! Today I wore one of our festival tops made by Lauren! One of the top things I wanted to do this festival was wander the South East Corner during the day which is the crazy late night area of the festival with lots of weird and wonderful things to be found including fairground rides! We spent the night tent hopping and dancing in San Remos bar!

DAY 3
The first day the main stages open and line up begins! The first act of the weekend for me was Ziggy Marley followed by Blossoms, First Aid Kit, TLC, SAM FENDER and Foals. ALL AMAZING! During this time we passed a mermaid in a sea globe! We ended the night in the South East Corner where we found the Eurovision winners playing!

DAY 4
A chill and a wander to start the day and then another fab day of music! Easy Life, AJ Tracey which was new to me and really enjoyed, Haim, Noel Gallagher and Paul McCartney. One of the best things about Glasto is coming across unexpected and secret places and just by wandering you can have the best experience, there’s so much to do and the party never ends! We ended the night trying our best at some Northern Soul dancing!

DAY 5
The legend act was the amazing Diana Ross where I had the time of my life and then we explored the Cabaret area. We wandered through the healing fields and then made our way up to Pennard Hill to catch the amazing views! At the top we stopped at Srummerville where we chilled around a fire and listened to some funky guys singing and playing cello! After this we took a trip up the ribbon tower to celebrate our engagement anniversary – this is where I got engaged in 2019! We then partied at Hybrid Minds, I bought a smiley face UV hoodie and then ended the festival at ICON and The Temple – 2 massive parts of Glastonbury playing the best dance music with extraordinary visual effects!

All in all if you have ever contemplated going it will be the best week of your life!!
