So festival season is underway and from spending most of my summer in a tent, I have realised there are so many essentials to take to festivals to make your life easier!
This is my list so far.. if you have anything to add please let me know what I’m missing!
A portable camping shower – this is fab on a morning when waking up in the hot sun and if you fill it up and leave it over night the sun will heat it up ready to use! Sunglasses – a must have during festival season even if it’s raining. Cool box – layer your cool box with frozen juice instead of ice packs so on those last hungover days you can wake up to icy juice. Huge water carrier – fill up at the water drinking taps and keep hydrated on hot days without having to keep buying bottled water. Gas stove – wake up to a cooked breakfast for those mornings you’re feeling delicate. Backpack – to carry all of your daily essentials so you don’t have to trek back to the tent. Bumbag – keep your valuables safe and hands free to dance! Hair Plaits – stop worrying about washing your hair and get your hair put in plaits to last the whole festival. Warm Clothes – It was so hot at Isle of Wight I didn’t take any warm clothing – bad decision at 3am when it was freezing! Wellies/Waterproof – We won’t jinx it but just in case! Flip flops – extremely useful for around the tent and light to carry. Anti bac – everyone knows how dirty festival toilets can get! Power bank – invest in a portable power bank to save standing in long queues to charge your phone. … and last but maybe most importantly, lots of food and alcohol to keep you going for the weekend! A crate of fruity ciders and a bottle of gin would be my choice!
